   http://i-bteu.by/Portals/0/Images/BluePoint.gif  In frames of academic mobility agreement with Russian University of Cooperation in BTEU, a program of international student mobility has been implemented at Belarusian Trade and Economics University on terms of mutual exchange. 6 students of BTEU lived and studied in the capital of the Russian Federation – Moscow in May 2018.
During the period of study students have supplemented their knowledge on a number of economic disciplines "Economics of Organizations (Enterprises)", "Accounting", "Economic Analysis", "Information Security", "Financial Law", "Office Information Technology in the Office of Economists" .
BTEU students took part in excursion to Museum of Cooperation and Library and Information Center of Russian University of Cooperation. As well, students met with rector of the university professor Gil S.S.
Considering that it was a mutual student exchange 6 students of Russian University of Cooperation mastered academic disciplines at BTEU together with Belarusian students. During the program various forms of training sessions, a sightseeing tour over the city, as well as, participation in various cultural and entertainment events were organized for students.

During the visit an agreement was reached on implementation of joint educational programmes, training, retraining and qualification improvement of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel. Head of Information Systems department Ivanov B. and Head of Finance department Mukhanov A. took part in the XV International Economic Forum within the section "Logistics and Trade" on the basis of Belarusian Trade and Economics University of Consumer Cooperatives.


    http://i-bteu.by/Portals/0/Images/BluePoint.gif May 13-18, 2018 Head of International Relations Department Valynets Tatsiana took part in  collective exposition of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus in frames of the National Exhibition of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Tajikistan "Education and Career", which was held during the visit of the Head of State to the Republic of Tajikistan.
In the course of the exhibition promotional and presentation materials about the university were distributed, counseling of applicants and their parents was carried out, interviews with potential applicants were conducted, an accord was reached on concluding a cooperation agreement with Tajik State University of Finance and Economics.
As part of Belarusian delegation Head of International Relations Department took part in the round table "Cooperation between Belarus and Tajikistan in the field of education", where the prospects for development of Belarusian-Tajik relations and cooperation in the scientific and educational spheres were discussed.

During the visit to two European capitals - Vienna and Budapest participants saw famous Vienna Opera House, visited majestic Town Hall, took photos near the building of the Hungarian Parliament and the Royal Palace and enjoyed a delicious cup of Viennese coffee. A wonderful end to the trip was a walk on the boat along the Danube by glittering Budapest night. During the trip students and teachers not only got acquainted with the history, cultural traditions, economic prospects of European countries, but also received a colossal charge of positive emotions.

During the event, prospective applicants and their parents got acquainted with the available opportunities for obtaining prestigious higher education in Belarus.

      http://i-bteu.by/Portals/0/Images/BluePoint.gif  April 24, 2018 the second cross-sectoral meeting of partners in trade and services was held in frames of the project "SME activation in the cross-border regions of Ukraine-Belarus" funded by the European Union through German Society for International Cooperation.
The aim of the meeting was establishing a constructive and transparent dialogue between business of Ukraine and Belarus. Representatives of business from the Republic of Belarus (Gomel, Rogachev, Zhlobin) and Ukraine (Kiev, Priluki, Chernigov, Varash, Repki, Mykhailo-Kotsyubinsky, Slavutich) took part in the meeting. Belarusian Trade and Economics University of Consumer Cooperatives was represented by the institutional project coordinator Dean of Faculty of Qualification Improvement and Personnel Retraining, PhD in Economics, associate professor Trusevich I.V. and assistant of institutional project coordinator, associate professor of the Department of Global and National Economics, Yatsevich N.V.
During the meeting Trusevich I.V. made a report "Aspects of entrepreneurship development in the Republic of Belarus".
Business representatives had the opportunity to communicate with each other in B2B format, as well as, to visit some enterprises of Slavutich.
There will be 3 more cross-sectoral meetings devoted to agriculture, transport and communal services, as well as IT technologies in frames of the project.

During the meeting BTEU representatives took part in the training "Development and successful implementation of double diploma programs", studied the best practices of Tomar Polytechnic Institute in the development and implementation of Strategic Plan of Internationalization and Action Plan of Internationalization.
In frames of the visit partners discussed the prospects for preparing and submitting joint project applications in connection with the upcoming completion of HARMONY project, as well as cooperation issues within the framework of academic mobility programmes.

Cooperation agreement between BTEU and Association was signed and a lecture on "Morocco: Economics, Culture, Traditions, People" was read for students and lecturers of BTEU within the framework of the visit.

In the course of the exhibition promotional and advertising materials about the University were distributed, interviews with parents of potential applicants were conducted, an agreement was reached with representatives of recruitment agencies on conducting career guidance work and sending applicants from among the citizens of Uzbekistan to study at BTEU.
Tatsiana Valynets visited the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Uzbekistan. During the meeting with representatives of the Embassy, ​​the prospects for the development of Belarusian-Uzbek contacts and cooperation in scientific and educational spheres, provision of assistance in the conclusion of direct inter-university agreements on cooperation with Uzbek educational institutions were discussed.

                                          

                     

       http://i-bteu.by/Portals/0/Images/BluePoint.gif  March 14, 2018 a working meeting of partners of project "SME activation in the cross-border regions of Ukraine-Belarus" implemented in frames of Eastern Partnership Territorial Cooperation Programme Belarus-Ukraine and funded by the European Union through German Society for International Cooperation was held at Belarusian Trade and Economics University of Consumer Cooperatives.
The meeting was attended by representatives of Ukraine including project coordinator, the first deputy chairman of Executive committee of Slavutich City Council Shevchenko V.V., as well as representatives of Chernigov Chamber of Commerce and Industry, business support centers of Slavutych and Priluki. Belarusian side was represented by project experts and business representatives of Rogachev and Gomel.
During the meeting participants discussed issues related to project implementation related to establishment of target groups and holding the first cross-sectoral meeting in Chernigov in which representatives of small business in production sphere from partner countries of the project take part. Project coordinator from BTEU is the dean of Faculty of Qualification Improvement and Personnel Retraining, PhD in Economics, associate professor Trusevich I.V.


      http://i-bteu.by/Portals/0/Images/BluePoint.gif October 26-29, 2017 X Anniversary Cross cultural Seminar “Open Germany – 2017” (“Deutschland entdecken – 2017”) was held at BTEU with support of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University. The seminar was organized by German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in Minsk.
During 4 days 85 students from 18 Belarusian HEIs delved into interactive German-speaking environment with lecturers of DAAD and representatives of German youth volunteer service «Kulturweit».

    http://i-bteu.by/Portals/0/Images/BluePoint.gif June 21-24, 2017 the final partner meeting of the project "Education force: driving mobility for EU-East Europe cooperation" of ERASMUS MUNDUS program was held at Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo (Viana do Castelo, Portugal). Associate professor of Department of Global and National Economics, EFFORT project Coordinator Natallia Yatsevich represented BTEU and the Republic of Belarus at the partner final meeting. During the meeting results of the project implementation for 2013-2017 were summed up, prospects for further cooperation within the consortium of participating universities were discussed.
Based on the results of EFFORT project for 2013-2017 years 18 people from BTEU took part in international academic mobility. Among them 7 students, 4 masters, 2 doctorates and 5 lecturers. Participants undertook internships and exchange education at the following European universities: Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo (Portugal), Tomáš Bata University in Zlin (Czech Republic), Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki (Greece), Central School of Marseille (France), Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences (Latvia).
                                             

       http://i-bteu.by/Portals/0/Images/BluePoint.gif In frames of academic mobility with the leading Russian universities - Russian University of Cooperation, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University and Belgorod University of Cooperation, Economy and Law a program of international student mobility has been implemented at Belarusian Trade and Economics University on terms of mutual exchange.
14 students of BTEU lived and studied in the most beautiful cities of the Russian Federation - Moscow, St. Petersburg and Belgorod from April till May 2017.
During the period of study students have supplemented their knowledge on a number of economic disciplines "Global Economics and International Economic Relations", "Accounting, Analysis and Audit", "Marketing", "Innovation Management", "Management of Foreign Economic Activity of the Firm", "Information Technology in Economics” etc. A diverse program of extra-curricular activities was, as well, offered for our students in host universities. Students got acquainted with cultural and historical monuments and tourist sights of Russian cities: Red Square, Ostankino Tower, Sparrow Hills in Moscow; Peter and Paul Cathedral, Palace Square, the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, museum-diorama "The Battle of Kursk", museum-preserve "The Field of Prokhorovka" in Belgorod.
Considering that it was a mutual student exchange 15 Russian students mastered academic disciplines at BTEU together with Belarusian students. During the program various forms of training sessions, a sightseeing tour over the city, as well as, participation in various cultural and entertainment events were organized for students from Belgorod, St. Petersburg and Moscow.
  

   http://i-bteu.by/Portals/0/Images/BluePoint.gif May 24, 2017 lecturers of BTEU took part in International scientific and practical Internet conference "Modern determinants of business process development in Ukraine" at the invitation of Kiev National University of Technology and Design in framework of concluded cooperation agreement.
Vice-rector for Research, PhD in Economics, associate professor Babovich Andrei addressed the conference participants with a welcoming speech on behalf of the University. He accentuated that the conference program presents relevant and important topics and stressed the importance of international cooperation in science and education.
Scientists and lecturers from Ukraine, Belarus and Poland took part in the conference. At the plenary session of the conference BTEU was represented by Tolkacheva Elena Head of the Department of Banking, Analysis and Audit, PhD in Economics, associate professor with a report on the topic "Methodological tools for assessing risks of functioning of consumer trade organizations" and Sidorenko Julia Vice-dean of the Faculty of Accounting and Finance, PhD in Economics with a report on the topic "Hedging as an effective method of managing currency risks".

                                               

       http://i-bteu.by/Portals/0/Images/BluePoint.gif May 19, 2017 in frames of the XIV Gomel Economic Forum - 2017 and International Universal Exhibition-Fair "Spring in Gomel" a cooperation agreement between Belarusian Trade and Economics University of Consumer Cooperatives and Bryansk branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics was signed.
Subject of the agreement is cooperation in the field of education and science, training of highly qualified specialists and scientific personnel, integration of professional education and science. The agreement defined forms of interaction between two universities in the most important fields of activity.
- Our plan includes close and effective interaction of scientific schools, educational integration of our scientists and students and it is another positive step in cooperation between higher education institutions of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, - said the Rector of Belarusian Trade and Economics University of Consumer Cooperatives Professor, Doctor of Economics Sviatlana Lebedzeva.

During the program participants got acquainted with sights of the most interesting and most beautiful cities of Europe: Warsaw, Berlin, Reims, Paris and Dresden. During the trip students and lecturers visited German Bundestag, got to glass dome of Reichstag, visited Notre-Dame de Reims, saw majestic Triumphal Arch, the world-famous Champs Elysees, the Eiffel Tower, visited factory of French perfumes Fragonard, the most popular world museum the Louvre and Paris amusement park Disneyland, had a walk on the river tram in the Seine and enjoyed panoramic view of Paris from the 200-meter high Montparnasse skyscraper.
During the trip students and lecturers not only got acquainted with the rich cultural heritage of European countries, inspected the sights, saw the best monuments of culture and architecture, visited famous museums, but also received a colossal charge of positive emotions.

Rector of the University Doctor of Economics, ProfessorLebedzeva Sviatlana, First Vice-rector PhD in Economics Snytkova Natallia and specialist of International Relations Department Smirnova Oksana represented BTEU at the partner meeting.
During the meeting there was signed a multilateral cooperation agreement between partner institutions of higher education from countries of the European Union and the CIS.
During the meeting representatives of the university took part in a methodological seminar on the development of framework of a comprehensive internationalization strategy and plans for internationalization activities, got acquainted with structure and management system of Sapienza University of Rome. During the seminar plan for the second year of the project and its implementation at the university was discussed and approved. 
  


   http://i-bteu.by/Portals/0/Images/BluePoint.gif 24-29 October 2016 a meeting of HARMONY project partners took place in Thessaloniki (Greece) in Alexander Technological Educational Institute. Rector of the University Sviatlana Lebedzeva and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Accounting and Finance Shablouskaya Tatsiana participated in the meeting.
During the meeting the participants got acquainted with the structure of Alexander Technological Educational Institute, listened to reports of the representatives of European higher education institutions on the practice of implementation of the internationalization strategy, discussed potential ways and internationalization techniques for higher education institutions of Belarusian Russia and Armenia, reported on the project results achieved by the end of the first project year and defined the tasks for the upcoming period.

In addition, Rector of BTEU Sviatlana Lebedzeva conducted preliminary negotiations with the representatives of Aston University (Birmingham, UK) on conclusion of a bilateral agreement between BTEU and Aston University.

As well, a preliminary agreement with the representatives of Penza State University for students and staff mobility was reached.

    During the visit an agreement on the conclusion of the agreement between the University of Rijeka and Belarusian Trade and Economic University of Consumer Cooperatives for exchange of students and staff in frames of Erasmus+ programme of the European Commission was reached.

During the conference the experience of participation of regional representatives in projects of cross-border cooperation programme “Poland-Belarus-Ukraine” 2007-2013 was studied, plans for cooperation with Polish and Ukrainian partners were discussed.

    In accordance with inter-institutional agreement between Tomas Bata University and BTEU Shablouskaya Tatsiana gave a lecture in English for international students. The lecture was attended by about 60 students as well as by the University lecturer Ms.

   Work of discussion platforms, a working meeting of representatives of the Turkmen and Belarusian universities were organised in frames of the event. During the formal opening of the exhibition parents of best students of

First Vice-rector of BTEU participated in international seminar for Higher Education Reform Experts “Joint programmes and degrees: Strategy, management, implementation” in frames of Erasmus+ programme that took place at University of Novi Sad in Serbia.
      During the seminar aspects of joint educational programs as means of higher education internationalization, including planning, management, aspects of education quality, distant possibilities of joint educational programs were presented.

N. and First Vice-rector, PhD in Economics Misnikova L.V. made a visit to University of Seville (Spain).
     During the visit they participated in the Kick-off meeting of the project partners. The meeting was attended by representatives of ministries of education of partner-coutries, senior officials of partner-HEIs as well as directors of various international centrers from countries as far as Spain, United Kingdom, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Armenia, Russia and Belarus.
    During the visit a methodological workshop on the in-depth analysis took place as well. It was devoted to the issue of development of comprehensive research of the level of internationalization of higher education, research and innovation in countries participating in the project.

During the meeting results of the second year of the EFFORT project implementation and a plan of activities in frames of the project for the further period were discussed by all the partners.

            http://i-bteu.by/Portals/0/Images/BluePoint.gif  September 15-18, 2015 Gori State Teaching University hosts the Final Project Meeting of Tempus Project “Leading and Managing Change in Higher Education” – LaMANCHE.
    Representatives of all partner HEIs took part in the event. During the Conference the main project outcomes and achievements was presented including the Strategy for Leading and Managing Change in Higher Education (La MANCHE Strategy).

     On the part of BTEU  V.Astafyeva, the Dean of Accounting and Finance Faculty presented the report “Student academic mobility: problems, course of development and risks for regional HEIs. Results of management change in BTEU”, and A.Smirnova, assistant of International Relations Department presented the report “Participation of BTEU in LaMANCHE Project: experience, changes, and perspectives”.

     On 17 September 2015 during the last day of the 5th and final project meeting a workshop Women in Leadership was held. The capacity building event was dedicated to senior female managers and leaders in higher education from the La MANCHE consortium. The chief goal of the workshop was to encourage female formal and informal leaders across the consortium to play a more significant role in the processes of change at their universities.

     The main achievements of Belarusian partners HEIs during the period of Project implementation were presented, as well as issues and topics included in the LaMANCHE Strategy were discussed. Although subjects of the reports were quite various they arouse profound interest of persons present. Many stakeholders in the field of HE from Great Britain, Belarus, Bulgaria, Portugal, including representatives from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, Rectors, Vice rectors, lecturers and students, as well as representatives of business and civil society took part in the conference. 
     During the Conference BTEU and International University College (Bulgaria) signed Cooperation Agreement in the field of science and education foreseen student exchange and earning double degrees by mobility participants.   It will give possibility to students of BTEU to study their specialties in more detail, gain experience of studying in European HEIs, study foreign language up to native speakers, and increase their competitiveness at the International labour market. 

   

       http://i-bteu.by/Portals/0/Images/BluePoint.gif  March 19, 2014 Belarusian Trade and Economic University of Consumer Cooperatives held a partner meeting in frames of the project "Leading and Managing Change in Higher Education."
       The project is funded by the European Union program TEMPUS and aims to contribute to the modernization of higher education in Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
     
To discuss the progress of the project, a delegation from Bulgaria headed by the rector of the International University College Todor Radev, as well as representatives of the Belarusian partner universities: Vitebsk State Technical University, Belarusian State Economic University and P.O. Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel visited BTEU.
      The participants of the meeting exchanged good practices, discussed the directions of further cooperation and developed measures to ensure the sustainability of the project at the institutional level.

      During the event First Vice-rector of the University L.V. Misnikova presented the La MANCHE project to the auditory, told about the results achieved and future prospects and invited for participation in (online)
discussion of the Strategy for Leading and Managing Change in Higher Education (La MANCHE Strategy) on the platform of the La MANCHE Virtual Think Tank (The La MANCHE VTT).

     The purpose of the round table was to inform about the implementation of the international project of the European Tempus-IV programme №530621-TEMPUS-1-2012-1-BG-TEMPUS-JPGR «Leading and Managing Change in Higher Education" (La MANCHE), to increase the motivation of stakeholders to participate in transnational working groups whose activities will be focused on the modernization of higher education and the joint discussion of strategy directions for leading and managing change in higher education in the region.

Students of the BTEU: 4th year student of the specialty "Finance and Credit"Suprun Aliaksandra and 3rd year student of the specialty "Logistics" Mozgunov Denis.
        During the conference students gained new knowledge about the world and European trends in the sphere of higher education, studied the experience of foreign youth student associations which are the acting force of higher education improvement.
          Following the results of the conference the participants were awarded certificates.

     http://i-bteu.by/Portals/0/Images/BluePoint.gif June 8-14, 2014 in frames of the La MANCHE project “Leading and Managing Change in Higher Education”of TEMPUS program dean of Faculty of Accounting and Finance, institutional  coordinator of the project V.A.Astafyeva took part in the 4th partner meeting of the project which took place on the basis of Yerevan State University (Armenia). During the meeting partners discussed the results of work of the 4th year of the project and coordinated a plan for further work.
        As well, V.A.Astafyeva participated in the commemoration of the 95th anniversary of the YSU and spoke at the conference "Education in the XXI Century: Problems and Challenges"
         Following the results of the work the certificate was obtained.


       http://i-bteu.by/Portals/0/Images/BluePoint.gif May 23, 2014 competitive selection of applicants for participation in 5-day training of Young Leaders Academy which will take place in the International University College (Bulgaria) from September 7, 2014 till September 13, 2014 in frames of La MANCHE project of the TEMPUS program came to the end. Following the results of the competition the following participants were selected:  3rd year student of the specialty "Finance and Credit" Suprun Aliaksandra and 2nd year student  of the specialty "Logistics" Mozgunov Denis.

   http://i-bteu.by/Portals/0/Images/BluePoint.gif May 6, 2014 the fourth lecture "World and European tendencies in higher education" was held in frames of La MANCHE project. The lecture was given by the Head of International Relations Department Valynets Tatsiana.


       March 2014  the handbook of European Governance Practices in Higher Education was published. The handbook is a major outcome of the activities in Work Package 4. It has been developed by the EU partner institutions in the project and consists of 16 case studies of innovative governance practices and approaches which have proved successful in the La MANCHE higher education institutions from Bulgaria, France, Greece, Portugal and the UK. The handbook is available on the project website.

      March 2014 the Changing Higher Education Institutions in Societies in Transition In-depth Study Report was presented by the La MANCHE project team of Work Package 3. The report is available on the project website.

      March 2014 the third lecture "The role of yound scientists in formation of University of the 21st century" took place in frames of the La MANCHE project. It was held by the Rector of the University Professor Svetlana Lebedeva. Target audience of the lecture was the reserved university personel.



      February 18, 2014 the second lecture and training "Self-avaluation of leadership skills and potential" held by the Dean of Faculty of Accounting and Finance Astafyeva Valitantsina took place in the frames of activities of the second year of implementation of the La MANCHE project.



      February 4, 2014 a lecture "Change in Higher Education in the process of entering the Bologna process" and a training "Internationalization of Higher" education were held by the First Vice-Rector of BTEU Misnikova Lyudmila in the frames of implementation of the La MANCHE project.

 November 27-28, 2013 International Scientific and Practical Conference “Management, Marketing and Modern Business Communications” was held at Belarusian Trade and Economics University of Consumer Cooperatives.During the plenary meeting of the conference the first Vice-Rector Lyudmila Misnikova reported about the results of activities for the implementation of international projects including the La MANCHE project “Leading and Managing Change in Higher Education”.

    November 28, 2014 A meeting of the Section “Raising standards in Teaching/Learning and Research through Internationalization” took place within the framework of the Conference. The Section was held by Lyudmila Misnikova, the project coordinator of La MANCHE project in Belarus. The participants had the opportunity to examine the directions of modernization of higher education in the partner countries of the La MANCHE project during the course of the section.
